Registration Guide

Registration

You will need either of the following to be able ot Register to HSBC Internet Banking service:

  • HSBC ATM Card and PIN code, or
  • HSBC Credit Card and PIN code.

In the event you do not have any of the above, kindly call our Contact Centre on 800 1234 or (230) 403 0701 for further assistance.

Simple steps to register:

Step 1:

Click on the Register button.

Step 2:

The Online Registration page will be displayed, as illustrated below:

Choose from the Drop own list to register, either with your ATM Card or Credit Card

If you wish to register with an ATM Card:

  • Choose 'ATM Card' from the drop Down list
  • Key in your ATM Card Number (without the spaces between the digits)
  • Key in your ATM Issue Number (found at the bottom-right hand side of the card)
  • Key in your ATM PIN Code

If you wish to register with a Credit card;

  • Choose 'Credit Card' from the drop Down list
  • Key in your Credit Card Number (without the spaces between the digits)
  • Key in your Credit PIN Code

Then click on 'Continue' to proceed

Step 3:

You will be prompted to create your Internet Banking Username, as per instructions on screen below:

After creating your Username, click on 'Continue' to proceed.

Step 4:

You will be prompted to create your Internet Banking Password, as per instructions on screen below:

After creating your Password, click on 'Continue' to proceed.

Step 5:

From screen below, we highly recommend you to click on 'Yes', to allow you to set your security questions to be used in case you forget your password

After you click on 'Yes', you will be allowed to specify your security questions * (two questions) and their respective answers, as per screen below

* Questions to be selected from the drop Down list

After completing the questions and answers, click on 'Continue' to proceed. You will be asked to confirm your security questions and answers, as per screen below:

Click on 'Continue' to proceed further

Step 6:

Carefully read the HSBC Personal Internet Banking Terms and Conditions and click on 'Accept' to advance or 'Reject'. In the latter case, kindly call our contact centre on 800 1234 or (230) 403 0701 for any clarifications. Screen is as below:

Step 7:

On Accepting the Terms and Conditions, select the accounts you wish to view on your Internet Banking Portfolio, Update or Add information to fields under 'Additional Information' section, as illustrated below:

Click on 'Continue' to proceed

Step 8:

Click on 'Confirm' to acknowledge the information provided, as illustrated below:

Step 9:

Below page will be shown informing customer that the registration was successful and that a Security Token will be sent to you within 5 working days.

This ends the registration process. You can close the browser and await your Security Token, which you will receive through Registered Post.
