Supplementary Card

Share the benefits and privileges of being an HSBC credit cardholder with someone special - simply by giving them an HSBC Gold supplementary card!

All HSBC Gold supplementary cardholders (Individual only) are NOT charged any annual fee!

As the primary cardholder, you will share your credit limit with the supplementary cardholder. In addition, all transactions performed by the supplementary cardholder will be listed separately on your own credit card statement.

 

Easy Payment Methods

You can pay your credit card bill using any of the following

  • Branch: Pay at any branch counter.
  • Autopay: Set up a direct debit from your designated account to settle your credit card bills on the payment due date..
  • Automated teller machine (ATM):Transfer funds from your account with HSBC or deposit cash/cheque to settle your credit card account at any HSBC ATM in Mauritius.
  • By mail:Send a cheque together with the payment stub to our Card Centre, 18 CyberCity, Ebene at least 5 working days before the payment due date. Cheques should be crossed and made payable to "The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited". Please write your card account number on the back of the cheque. Do not send cash or post-dated cheque.
  • By Internet Banking: Settle your credit card account anytime and anywhere using the HSBC Internet Banking facility.

Eligibility

 Eligibility criteria to apply for an HSBC Gold Credit Card

  • Individuals aged 18 and above (for primary and supplementary applicants)
  • Minimum gross income of MUR 30,000 per month.
  • Minimum income of MUR 75,000 for expatriates.
  • Mauritian Resident.
  • Supplementary cards will be issued to immediate family members only.
  • Must satisfy the bank’s credit/lending criteria.

 To apply for a credit card, you need to provide the following documents

  • Copy of identification (passport/identity card)
  • Original salary slip/letter from employer
  • Copy of latest utility bill (CWA,CEB,MT)
  • Occupation/Work permit (for expatriates only)
  • Full passport copy (for expatriates only)
  • Bank statement for last 3 months (only for self employed)
