Pre-Requisites:
Registered to HSBC Internet Banking
(Not yet registered, please click on
to perform instant online registration)
MRA Tax Account Number (TAN)
The
Amount of tax you have to pay, as per calculation
on the Income Tax Form.
Step 1: Set-up MRA as a Payee on HSBC Internet Banking
Click on to access your Internet Banking session
Click
on Pay bills then Add payee
Click
on Search to get list of merchants
Click
on MAURITIUS REVENUE AUTHORITY from the list
Input
your Tax Account Number (TAN) in the Utility
Account Number field.
Click
on Add to proceed
On
the Review Details page, either you click
on the 'Change' button to make any modification
to the Tax Account Number or 'Confirm' to
accept correctness of Tax Account Number provided
An
Acknowledgment page for successful creation
of the Payee.
Note that you can add as many payees as you wish, in the event you are paying for different Tax Account Numbers
Step2: Pay your MRA Tax (After adding Payee)
Click
on Pay bills then Pay a bill
Select
your 'From account', which can be savings,
current or even credit card
Select
the Payee
Enter
the amount
Select the Date and Frequency
Enter any details for your own reference
Click
on 'Pay' to proceed
On
the Review Details page, either you click
on the 'Change' button to make any modification
to the payment or 'Confirm' to conclude the
payment
After
successful payment processing, an Acknowledgment
page will be displayed
