  • Direct Debit (HSBC accounts only)
    
    Direct Debit enables companies to collect payments from regular debtors on time, provided that those debtors hold accounts with HSBC.
    
    By lodging a Direct Debit file with HSBC, the accounts of a company’s customers are debited and the company’s account is bulk credited. With Direct Debit a company is safe in the knowledge that it will collect money on time while providing its customers with a convenient way of making payments.
    
    This service is ideal for regular receivables such as bills, premiums or membership fees. We have specific agreements for free direct debit with Mauritius Telecom and Cellplus.
• Liquidity Management
  • Autosweep Facility
    
    HSBC’s Autosweep Facility enables a company to manage its liquidity more efficiently by ensuring that its operating accounts are funded appropriately to cover any shortfall in meeting payments.
    
    Additionally, by stating the minimum balance that is to be kept in its operating accounts, any excess funds will automatically be transferred to an interest bearing account to maximize liquidity returns.

  • Salaries & Wages
    With HSBC’s Salaries & Wages proposition, a company is able to streamline its salary payment process. By lodging a Salaries & Wages file with HSBC, the accounts of a company’s employees are credited and the company’s account is bulk debited.
  • Priority Payments
    With HSBC’s Priority Payments, a company is able to make both domestic and foreign payment transactions that can be effected same day* or forward dated, according to business needs.

  • Payments Advising
    With every Priority Payment effected by a company, a real-time advice can be delivered, via email or fax, to each beneficiary to notify them as soon as HSBC has processed the payment instructions.
